As of last week, Emily Holt's SF Hero Shop is no longer an only child. You'll have to go to Marin to see the new addition.
Plus, we recently discovered Époque Évolution, makers of killer pants and key closet essentials; and skincare brand First Aid Beauty serves up limited-edition goodies (and confetti) at a one-day pop-up on Powell Street.

From 11am to 7pm on Friday, August 23, First Aid Beauty is celebrating 10 Years of Feeling FAB! with a pop-up event at Powell Station Plaza (in front of the cable-car turnaround). What you'll find: A limited-edition product sampling bar, Insta photo-opps galore, games and more. We can't wait to get our hands on the quartet of bestselling products wrapped in fun birthday-bash packaging: Cult-favorite Ultra Repair Cream, Face Cleanser, Facial Radiance Pads and Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer. San Francisco is stop three on the skincare brand's eight-city birthday tour. HBD, FAB! // 1 Powell St. (Union Square),firstaidbeauty.com
We could wear these pants every day, forever. It's an Époque Évolution.

Nancy Taylor and Hannah Franco are friends, former Athleta colleagues and founders of Époque Évolution. The duo's year-old, Mill Valley-based online label consists of a handful of versatile pieces, which are made with sustainable fabrics in non-boring neutral shades and have all the right details. Everything is super chic and super wearable. Any dame who wants to get dressed once a day no matter what's on her calendar needs The White Shirt, Nonstop Tee Dress, Straight Up Skirt and Form Jacket in her closet. Our absolute favorite, though, is the Jet Set Trouser. Basically, it's a comfy black pant with non-pinchy waistband, cool slits at the hem and a magical ability to flatter all types of bodies. Plus, it comes in navy now! The price tag is $228...not bad when you do the cost-per-wear math. // Shop online,epoqueevolution.com
With a new Marin boutique, Hero Shop is living its best life.

A few days ago, the Tenderloin's coolest cool-girl clothing/accessories/home/gift shop welcomed a sibling. And the new store-baby lives worlds away from the three-old original's urban spot at Post and Larkin: Yep, Hero Shop's second space is located at the sunny Marin Country Mart. "This is all a result of our fun and successful pop-up at the Mart in May," explains founder Emily Holt. The new, brighter space carries the same brands available in SF but adjusted for the warmer weather and a more relaxed lifestyle, she adds. An official birthday party will be coming this fall, as will ongoing events—including trunk shows with Kule and Of Rare Origin, and DIY tie-dye. Looks like we'll be making regular drives over the GGB. Hours are Monday to Saturday 10am–6pm; Sunday 11am–5pm. // Marin Country Mart, 2257 Larkspur Landing Circle (Larkspur), heroshopsf.com
