The 7th annual Fashion on the Square event taking place on Saturday in San Francisco has a new home this year: under the “dome” at the Westfield San Francisco Centre.
Billing itself as one of the largest runway fashion shows on the West Coast (Stanford’s Charity Fashion Show has also claimed the title), the afternoon fashion fundraiser entices with a mixture of known and emerging designer names, as well as celebrity hosts Jay Nicolas Sario of last season’s Project Runway and Bre of America’s Top Model, cycle 5.
Among the labels you’ll spot on this year’s runway are Forever 21, Justin Jamison, Jill Alexander Designs, Picky Studio and Daniel Sudar.
The children and tween runway show kicks off the event, starting at noon. The ready-to-wear portion of the event begins at 3 p.m., while raffles, live entertainment and special deals in the shopping center’s surrounding stores keep attendees entertained throughout.
Proceeds from ticket sales support non-profit organizations Inner City Youth Sports, the San Francisco chapter of Fashion Group International and Until There’s A Cure.
Tickets are $21.50.
