Media Noche Guest Chef Pop-up Cubano Series
Media Noche is launching a Chefs Cubano series with a new pressed sandwich from a different San Francisco chef each month. This month they teamed up with Telmo Faria of Uma Casa to offer his Bifana, a riff on a traditional Portuguese sandwich with marinated pork loin, a sweet pepper and onion sofrito, and fresh arugula. Ten percent of the proceeds of the sandwich will go to No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit tacking child hunger. Ryan Pollnow (Ne Timeas Group) will offer his sandwich spin (also donating a portion of proceeds to a charity of his choice) in December; and Evan Rich and Liza Shaw are confirmed for early 2018. // 3465 19th St (Mission, medianochesf.com
