Taking the former City Tavern location at 3200 Fillmore is Sabrosa, which opened yesterday. Previously the opening chef at Nopalito, Jose Ramos joins the Sabrosa team. This new spot’s goal is to bring fresh market finds and real Mexican flavors to the Marina as well as a full service bar. Sabrosa will be open seven days a week and they’re serving up lunch, dinner, bar bites, and brunch on the weekends. Some of the new creations coming out of the Sabrosa kitchen are seared Mayan spice rubbed ribeye, lime cured fish, and Dungeness crab tortas. Mmm. 3200 Fillmore @ Greenwich.
