Bringing you the latest in retail therapy around the Bay Area.
The coolest shop-on-wheels (and online destination) Half Hitch Goods is popping up in its first brick-and-mortar location starting Thursday. Head over to the Birch space at 564 Hayes Street, where the floral shop (which carries a cool collection of fashion magazines) will morph into Haus of Half Hitch for the month of July. Expect lots of locally loved brands—baubles from Metier, wares by The Podolls, art by Emily Proud—stocked in the pop-up shop, along with treasures from owner Carrie Caillouette's far-flung travels.
Meanwhile, further uptown, French fashion boutique The Kooples has opened in the former Clary Sage Organics space at Fillmore and Clay streets. It is the brand's first expansion into the U.S.
Ready to work off some of that holiday poundage? Well, rejoice, SoMa residents! The much beloved (and much hyped) SoulCycle is coming to your 'hood in the near future. The SoMa location will become the fourth Bay Area spot, joining Union Street in SF, Larkspur, and Palo Alto.
Further South, the Westfield Valley Fair mall will be getting two new high-end jewels in its crown, in the form of a Saint Laurent women's store and CH Carolina Herrera this fall. Start saving those pennies!
