Image Orthodontics is proud to unveil its newest, cutting-edge facility on Folsom Street.
The clinic is led by renowned orthodontist Dr. Yan Kalika, DMD, MS, an expert in the field for over 20 years and a highly respected practitioner in the Bay Area.
This new clinic expands Image's ability to provide high-quality orthodontic and dental care, utilizing the latest technology to ensure effective and comfortable treatments in a welcoming and modern environment.

Image Orthodontics continues to set the bar for excellence. Dr. Kalika is a respected authority in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics and an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the San Francisco Dental Society.
“Our new Folsom Street location is guided by three core principles: delivering exceptional orthodontic and pediatric dental care, ensuring accessibility by accepting most insurance plans, including Medi-Cal, and creating a patient-centered environment focused on comfort and well-being,” Dr. Kalika says.
The Mission clinic features advanced AI-driven technologies and the latest innovations in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Working closely with Dr. Kalika, Dr. Ng and Dr. Daftari will both serve as highly skilled orthodontists.
Dr. Ng is a forward-thinking expert who has mastered the high standards of precision care and professionalism for which Dr. Kalika is renowned. Dr. Daftari, an experienced orthodontist, is recognized for her meticulous approach and commitment to creating a positive, comfortable environment for all patients.

In keeping with Image Orthodontics’ dedication to innovation, internationally acclaimed Ukrainian designer Tatyana Denisenko was commissioned to design the clinic’s interior.
“Our projects emphasize sustainable development, and purposeful design,” Denisenko explains. “I wanted to create a space that remains timeless and relevant. Recognizing that patients often engage in casual conversations while waiting, I designed the waiting area to be cozy and comfortable. We want to make patients to feel more like guests in a friend’s home than visitors in a medical facility.”
