On Valentine's, The Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton will host an elevated Singles Mingle happy hour (5-7pm) featuring premium wines at special prices to encourage conversations and connections. In the mood for some bubbly? The Lounge will also be serving Veuve Clicquot Champagne, as well as Failla chardonnay and Round Pond cabernet sauvignon each for $20 a glass. Mix with locals and travelers alike while sampling the El Volcàn cocktail (Clase Azul reposado tequila and Dom Pérignon Champagne) or the Transcontinental Barrel Aged Manhattan with Hooker's House Bourbon.
Going all out? Indulge in a decadent five-course meal prepared by chef Michael Rotondo at Parallel 37. Savor seasonal favorites including Dungeness crab pasta with green garlic, leek, and Meyer lemon; and roasted Liberty Farm duck with turnip and Asian pear on brioche. The special Valentine's Evening dinner starts at $175 per person with optional premium wine pairings for an additional $95. Guests also have the option to pamper their sweetheart even more with the Caviar Indulgence presentation paired with two glasses of Dom Pérignon Champagne for $225. Seatings are available February 14th from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.
To finish the evening, executive pastry chef Thiago Frare will serve his Don't Break My Heart dessert, a dark chocolate shell presentation that breaks open to reveal a luscious surprise. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live music and a photo booth to capture your #RCMemories for years to come.
