Pasta lover and Rome-based cookbook author Katie Parla is giving a talk at UC Berkeley on her forthcoming untitled cookbook to do with the cuisine of Southern Italy. Because burgers make everything better, Chef Dante Cecchini (formerly of Marlowe), is bringing his own version to the table at Fiorella, the Outer Richmond eatery usually known for its small plates and pizza. Sink your teeth into six ounces of B&N Ranch ground beef topped with American cheese, Fiorella;s "special sauce," sour pickle, butter lettuce, and grilled onions all on a poppy seed bun.
