No, we don't want to know whether you have the hots for your pet...we want to know what makes your pet–whether it's a dog, cat, lizard, bird, rat, or platypus–hot. We're thinking things like: Did your dog rescue an old lady from a burning building? Can your parrot recite love poems? Can your cat ride a skateboard? Yep, these are the pressing questions that keep us awake at night.
For our latest photo contest, we've partnered with the SF SPCA to find the city's hottest 20 pets, representing all 'hoods and all species. Send us a photo or (Instagram) video via Twitter or Instagram by August 30 showcasing your pet in all its glory, along with your pet's name, your neighborhood, and exactly what makes your pet hot. From there, we'll select our favorite 20 (to be announced on Sept. 3), and have you vote your one favorite to the top. And, as always, we'll have excellent prizes for the winner. Get excited!
