Bring the family out to Precita Park this Sunday, July 25 from 1-6pm for an afternoon of music, dance, refreshments, and hands-on community art at the Urban Youth Arts Festival. Kids will have the opportunity to (legally!) experiment with spray painting on mural-ready panels set up in the park. The festival will also have plenty of artsy activities for kids who aren't quite old enough to wield the rattle can, including traditional painting. The event is organized by Precita Eyes Muralists and sponsored by Rainbow Grocery Cooperative (who will hopefully provide the refreshments mentioned in the event listing).
