St. Nick's getting rowdy this weekend: en masse. SantaCon, the annual debaucherous (read: drunken) gathering of revelers dressed in Santa gear kicks of this Saturday at 12:12 p.m. sharp (12/12 at 12:12, tricky tricky!) at the Civic Center Plaza Christmas Tree. The parade/stagger will then inject its dose of jolly at various gathering points/dance parties throughout the city. If you're escaping to Tahoe this weekend, there's some Santa action for you there as well. The annual Reno Santa Crawl goes down this Saturday (over 5,000 revelers are expected to 'Join the Claus'), which means both a flurry of St. Nickery at the area's pubs and Santa Skiing discounts at Mr. Rose Ski Resort for those dressed as the Fat Man.
