Rain, rain, go away!
We can sing and wish it away all we want, but any SF girl knows we're in for our annual spring showers. The upside? Rainy weather is one trend that keeps coming back, so investing in a good pair of rain boots is a definite must.
Let's take a moment to thank Kate Moss, for launching the Wellie trend, back in 2006, when she made muddy Hunter rain-boots look sexy, with a pair of micro-mini shorts (Of course she did!). Designers and fans quickly took note, and what was once a childhood accessory for jumping in puddles, suddenly boomed as trendy adult footwear.
While colorful, printed Wellies are fun, the trend is moving toward sleek, subtle rain boots that look like everyday footwear. Using rubber and plastic to make modern rain boots is no easy task, but designers continue to amaze us -- most recently with wedge, lace-up and hybrid designs. Check out our 7 favorites for staying stylish and dry in the rain.
