Rainy days seem to have left SF with the holidays, and we couldn't be happier. In fact, we're already dreaming of lush Spring wardrobes and luckily, Neiman Marcus is here to help.
All month, Neiman is previewing spring trunk shows from Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Oscar de la Renta. Here's the breakdown:
View the Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2011 collection on January 7, from 10am to 4pm, in the Couture Salon, Third Floor. This season, YSL features oversized ruffles and interesting splits in fabric, revealing subtly sexy amounts of skin. The collection has plenty of neutral tones with shots of strong blues.
Preview Gucci Spring 2011 on January 11, from 10am to 4pm, in Designer Sportswear, Second Floor. For this collection, head designer Frida Giannini called back Gucci-glam in a bold way. The collection incorporates the trendy gold and neutral tones of the season, as well as strong jewel-toned separates.
The 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2011 collection will show on January 14, from 10am to 5pm, in Contemporary Sportswear, Fourth Floor. Phillip Lim continues to amaze with his latest "puzzle-piece" collection. While seemingly complicated, the bottomless and backless pieces merge together seamlessly to create a swift, edgy-architectural look.
Last, but certainly not least, preview Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 on January 18, from 10am to 6pm, in the Couture Salon, Third Floor. The collection is perfectly hoity-toity, featuring lots of pretty prints and floral embroidery.
