Nob Hill's Parallel 37 Perfects Its "Kitchen to Cocktail" Technique

Nob Hill's newest eatery, Parallel 37 tucked away in The Ritz-Carlton, is now open and poised to become the area's best place to steal away for sophisticated drinks and bites to eat, thanks to both bartender Camber Lay and renowned chef Ron Siegel. It's a collaboration that yields an amazing "kitchen to cocktail" technique, where Chef Siegel makes syrups, reductions and infusions in the kitchen that double as exquisite mixology components that blend with Lay's handpicked drink ingredients.

If you're just looking to unwind with a mellow drink, you can indulge in wine (available in either half or whole glasses, and half or whole bottles) or beer (they feature three local breweries: Lagunitas, Ace Industries, and Trumer Pils). You can enjoy full service dining at the bar with entrees that are all under an approachable $30, or delicious bar bites like polenta fries and oysters if you want a quick snack.

Best of all? Parking is $10 flat, so locals can venture to Parallel 37 without fearing the usual steep hotel parking rates.
