Sam Mazaheri knew Sogol Navai was his person from the moment he met her, but they remained best friends for 10 whole years before anything romantic happened. But for this couple, who got engaged at the end of a wild birthday scavenger hunt, love was worth the wait.
The pair decided on a destination wedding, on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, and let their coordinator take the reins. Given that the ceremony would take place right on the beach at Loulu Palm Estate, the day would centered around fun, with bold hues, sunglasses as favors, and cupcakes for dessert.
The wedding party gathered under a large tent in a field surrounded by a thick grove of trees and foliage. A simple bamboo structure stood as their arch, adorned with streamers fluttering in the warm breeze. Afterwards, guests enjoyed drinks and games on the lawn.
Multihued flags were hung in a canopy across the tent with warm lights and long tables around the dance floor. There were sensational splashes of color, perfect for the lush surroundings. The lovebirds laughed at speeches, smashed cupcakes into each other's faces, and then danced the night away.
