One East Bay pigeon was just a feather away from death on Monday morning, but thanks to the Oakland Fire Department, he (or she) flies on to see another day.

On Monday, a pigeon was stuck in the wires at Fruitvale BART Station, and the Oakland Fire Department made it their duty to help the little guy out of his predicament.
