If you’re feeling the overwhelming urge to feast your eyes on modern dance and your teeth on bites of salmon (um, no promises on the salmon, the press release didn’t include amenu), head to the Mission for tapas, ODC-style.
After wine and hors d'oeuvres, a carefully edited selection of ODC's most popular works - namely, Waving Not Drowning, Stomp a Waltz, and John Somebody - are presented in an up-close studio setting. Dancers leap and slide to Brazilian piano and live electronic processing in an hour of ODC’s athletic and imaginative brand of motion.
