...But not far. Peace Industry will be leaving their 585 Octavia Blvd location and moving just a block or so over to 597 Hayes Street, known to many as the former location of Hayes Valley favorite, Alabaster. It's all going down sometime around August 15th, but until then you can stop by the original location for at least 30% off all rugs. Wow! If you've ever seen Peace Industry's products in person, you know the high standard of quality of each rug, which are all handmade in Iran through longheld traditional methods. They're also bee-you-ti-ful, and made under fair trade practices using only wool and vegetable dyes. If you can't make it to Hayes, take a look at their selection online, and while you're there take a second to read about the company and their work - knowing a bit of the back story makes these rugs all the more lovely.
