We all love a comeback story: After a four-year hiatus, the famed Pebble Beach Food & Wine is back this April and in refreshed form.
Presented by the Pebble Beach Company Foundation and the Florida-based a21 (which operates the popular Whiskeys of the World tour), the year's culinary festival marks a stronger-than-ever emphasis on its charitable component—the event benefits local nonprofits in youth and education sectors—alongside all the star power foodies have come to expect of the gastronomic weekend held at one of the world's most iconic golf courses.

The megawatt talent coming from around the country and overseas includes James Beard Award–winning and Michelin-starred chefs, celebrity TV toques, pastry proteges, winemakers, and sommeliers. More than a dozen of these superstars hail from the Bay Area including Heena Patel (Besharam), Charles Phan (Slanted Door), Matt Horn (Horn Barbecue) and Brandon Jew (Mister Jiu's), just to name just a few.
The three-day weekend (April 4-7) is packed with dozens of seminars, panels, tastings, lunches, dinners and after-parties, with event tickets available a la carte and in packages. The festival culminates in the flagship Tasting Pavilion, with has been updated and greatly expanded this year to celebrate the special location that is Pebble Beach with an experiential, forested tasting environment and new outdoor cabanas and VIP areas.
Wine and spirits continue to play a starring role at PBFW with more than 150 producers taking part. The Roots Fund, a nonprofit hospitality organization that empowers BIPOC participation in the wine industry, is overseeing the sommelier program.
