On August 2nd, 7x7 launched the late summer event series, The Cocktail Party 2012 with Maker's Mark at the ever-popular 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco's SoMa District.
An excited crowd streamed into the Zappa Room to enjoy $5 specials on the evening's signature drink, The Fresh Democrat, created by Minna's own Mel Chang using Maker's 46 (which was also on sample for the event), lemon juice, Ginger Snap Liqueur, and sweetened with agave nectar. Bites were delivered from town favorite the Pub at Ghirardelli Square.
Guests also camped it up for photos using some fun election-themed props, and queued up for a unique takeaway: custom wax-dipped mini-shakers evoking Maker's Mark's iconic wax-sealed bottles.
