San Francisco's beloved monthly dance party Hard French twists and turns into a super-sized extravaganza for Pride Sunday, welcoming the hottest visiting and resident alternaqueers to the bosom of the Mission.
Billed as "an intergalactic Pride party for all the gayliens who love to dance in outer space," the much-anticipated event offers a mind-blowing lineup of entertainment, including the ever-present Jiggalicious Drag Babes—a bevy of buxom beauties showing you the moves and daring you to keep up. this year's luscious lovelies include Dulce De Leche, Alotta Boutté, Grace Towers, and many more.
Founding HF members DJ Carnita & Brown Amy serve up classic badass soul jams, girl groups, and the deepest funk grooves from the way back. Special appearances by hostess Lil Miss Hot Mess, guest DJs Olga T (Good Times, Oakland) and Taco Tuesday (I Heart Cochinas Tongas, SF), and live performances from THEESatisfaction (Seattle), Magic Mouth (Portland), and Midtown Social (SF) guarantee this event's indie-queer heart will beat loudly.
This year's event expands to the humongous venue Roccapulco, long-known as the locus for the city's salsa music scene, having featured legendary acts like Celia Cruz and Tito Puente.
