Nestled up on Russian Hill, Capulet still remains one of San Francisco's hidden gems. Owner Lauren Fay named the women's boutique after her favorite Shakespeare darling, Juliet Capulet, who she always saw as a romantic and rebellious heroine.
The collection is Fay's interpretation of a modern day urban Juliet -- each piece is classic and sexy, but with a definitive edge. We love the high-end style paired with more accessible price points (typically under $300), and the great selection of pieces made in the USA.
Online, the store is really only budding. The relaxed brick and mortar on the other hand, warrants a trek up Polk St. Upon entering, you'll be greeted with calming gray walls, casual dress form mannequins, whimsical artwork, and the complete selection of goods (including lovely jewelry and accessories that have yet to make their way online).
Capulet (2354 Polk St.), open Tuesday-Saturday: 12pm-7pm, Sunday: 12pm-5pm.
