Celebrate the timeless appeal and elegant contrast of black and white in the worlds of decorative arts, fashion, photography, fine art, and beyond.

Inspired by the timeless tuxedo, the cinematic glamour of Hollywood, and of course Truman Capote’s legendary Black and White Ball, the 42nd annual Fall Show will explore the artistic and emotional dimensions of this enduring color duo.

From Piranesi’s prints to De Kooning’s brush strokes, Escher’s mazes to Matisse’s charcoals, lacquer and japanning to ebony and mother of pearl, black and white is the monochromatic thread that ties it all together.

The celebration kicks off on October 16th with a glamorous opening night gala, benefitting the Fine Arts Museums of SF and co-chaired by Aerin Lauder (Aerin) and Wes Gordon (Carolina Herrera).

Then, over four stylish days, more than 40 dealers from around the world will offer an extraordinary range of fine and decorative arts representing all styles and periods including American, English, Continental, and Asian. Shop furniture and decorative objects along with art, books, precious metals, jewelry, textiles, and ceramics,.

The Fall Show also features a popular series of book signings and lectures, with speakers including Timothy Corrigan, Charlotte Moss, Pamela Shamshiri, Michelle Nussbaumer, and many more.

Don't miss this year's stylish celebration.
