Here in the gay capital of the world, we take tremendous satisfaction in our Pride Week festivities. So gang, let's let our flags fly free and celebrate all things fiercely rainbow-hued. Here's an events list that's bound to make your Pride week hella fabulous.
Monday, June 19: Bask in the Rainbow Lights of City Hall
A bit miffed you missed the initial lighting ceremony Sunday night? Well, fret not! San Francisco's City Hall will be bathed in primary and secondary shades throughout the week. On June 23rd, look for the Beaux-Arts facade to sport blue, white, and pink in recognition of the day's Transgender March.

Tuesday, June 20: Talkin' About the Evolution of Gender
When the hour-hand strikes 6pm, ready your right hemisphere for a conversational exploration in the Darwinian origins of gender lead by evolutionary anthropologist Dr. Stephanie Meredith. As a gender nonconformist, Meredith is interested in what drives "gender-typical" development. Expect a lively, enriching discussion, and reserve your spot ($10 tickets) in advance. Plus: cocktails!

Wednesday, June 21: Meat up at Bi-BQ
The Bay Area Bisexual Network (BABN) is hosting its annual, cheekily named Bi-BQ to celebrate all things "B" in LGBTQ. Bring your fierce appetite for some well-smoked grub.

Thursday, June 22: Cal Academy's Pride NightLife Party
To honor Pride week, California Academy of Sciences is injecting an extra splash of color into its Thursday NightLife event. Swing by the coral reef for sultry beats spun by the DJs from Oakland's vivacious Hella Gay Dance Party, plus learn about the queer history behind some of your favorite constellations at the planetarium. With attendance expected to be through the roof, purchasing tickets ($15) in advance is recommended.

Friday, June 23: Raise Your Flags for the Trans March
One of the largest displays of gender unification anywhere in the world, San Francisco's Transgender March serves as both a national and international beacon for trans recognition. Starting at Dolores Park, some 2,000 people are expected to walk together toward Civic Center

Saturday, June 24: Dyke March + More
Celebrate the spellbinding queerness that is dyke culture with a march and pre-walk potluck alongside transfeminine, transmasculine, genderqueer, and gender-fluid dykes.

Start the weekend of revelry with a workout at BodyRok studio's first-ever cycle/yoga combo class. After conquering a sweaty 30 minutes of spinning, you'll reclaim your sense of composure in a 30-minute heated Vinyasa flow session.

Sunday, June 25: The Big Parade + More
Running from 10:30am to 3:30pm, the 47th Annual San Francisco Pride Parade will be one for the ages. At the afterparty, chart-topping vocalists Betty Who and Regina Spektor will grace the Civic Center main stage. For grandstand seating at the parade, get your tickets ($40 at eventbrite.com) before they sell out.

Should you feel like viewing the passing eye-candy from a few stories up with a glass of bubbly in hand, treat yo' self to the Libations Pride Brunch at The Village. Your $15 ticket—benefiting local LGBT charities—will get you all the coffee cake you can eat.
