We spotted partners Liz King (left) and Judith Powell (right), toughing the weather in cute coats and distressed boots, while out for a shop on Market St. Liz works retail development and oversees some of the construction of Apple stores, and Judith is the executive director of The First Tee of SF, a youth development program. When they're not hard at work, the two are busy shopping and eating local, in SF and beyond.

1. Where are your favorite local shops?
L: Lava 9, Rabat, Wonderland, Azalea, Cake Plate.
J: Lava 9 in Hayes Valley for rings; Zipper in Sonoma for necklaces; Cake Plate in Napa (the owner, Paige, is awesome!); Azalea, and Bulo in Hayes Valley for shoes and bags.
2. Style icons?
L: Really, I wish I had someone, but I guess certain actresses: Angelina Jolie, Audrey Hepburn and my friend Lori who lives in Chicago.
J: Cliche, but either Hepburn (Katherine and Audrey), Tom Ford anything...Julianne Moore in A Single Man was flawless, I love clean lines and black and white with just a hint of color. Truman Capote's black & white ball and the ascot races scene from My Fair Lady are perfection.
3. How has your personal style changed over the years?
L: I wear more heels now.
J: I stopped trying ot make houndstooth happen and quit purchasing my accessories from Claire's.
4. What's your most prized posession?
L: A Barbara Silverstein ring from Lava 9 that is a wire mesh around a pearl.
J: My dog Leopold.
5. Where do you get pampered?
L: Green Twig, St. Regis, Indian Springs, but I really pamper with food and drinks!
J: Dana at Green Twig does my hair, nails in Noe Valley, spa/pool at St. Regis, and my best massage was at SFO Terminal 2 -- 15 minutes of total bliss.
6. What's one style secret you're willing to share?
L: Most people know this, but don't wash your hair every day.
J: Edit -- less is more. Champagne makes every party, outfit and conversation better!
7. Other than shopping, where are you eating and playing in SF?
L: Eating, especially boozy lunches, and cooking are my favorite hobbies. Zuni, Boulette's Larder, Mission Cheese, Delfina Pizzeria to go, Tacolicious, Amber India. I love to cook Mexican so I buy more ingredients at La Palma, and Casa Lucas (right near Wonderland!) and Nijiya Market for shishito peppers and fish to make sushi.
J: Eat and drink wine and wistfully look at furniture I cannot afford. My favorite restaurants include Locanda, Commonwealth, Zuni, Mission Chinese. Also, the bar at Joe's of Westlake saves you a trip to Palm Springs, 7 Mile House is the best place to watch a sports event, and Mustards in Napa is still really, really great.
