Here's your weekly dose of fashion and beauty.

Get your hair did (for free).

And then shop for a high-tech vacuum, purifier fan and, of course, the most Instagrammed hair dryer on the planet. Schedule an appointment or simply walk into the new Dyson Demo store in Union Square for a complimentary blowout with a stylist wielding the ultra fast-drying Dyson Supersonic ($399). Small and lightweight with a powerful and revolutionary digital motor, the English company's first foray into beauty is a veritable smash. The success owes much to the brand's $71 million investment into all aspects of the science of hair, not to mention the savvy move of making celeb hairstylist and social media firebrand Jen Atkin an ambassador. Blowouts are available 11am to 6pm, seven days a week. Now, that's what we call a breath of fresh hair. // 285 Geary Blvd (Union Square), dyson.com

Sephora's new lipstick collection talks pretty.

Even the most discerning of lippie addicts will have their puckers piqued by Sephora's new lipstick collection, #Lipstories. We're talking one long-lasting formula in three finishes (cream, matte and metallic) and 40 (not a typo) shades. No doubt you'll be gobsmacked by the ridiculous selection of highly pigmented hues and the $8 price tag. But it's the OMFG-inducing, Insta-ready packaging that seals the deal. Boy, do these tubes have fun stories to tell. "They were created to celebrate wild adventures, favorite moments and magic memories that are yet to come," says Helen Phillips, national makeup artist for Sephora Collection. Naturally, our favorite is Golden Gate #31, a matte plummy purple. (Yum Yum # 10, a cream brownish pink is runner-up.) Bottom line: Sometimes it's OK to judge a book lipstick by its cover. // The new collection is available online and in stores, sephora.com.

We're throwing a party at Athleta (because tights).

7x7 is so stoked about the Gap-owned brand's new Up for Anything tights that Champagne and Third Culture Bakery sweets were in order. You're all invited to get in on the fun at Athleta's new Burlingame store, next Thursday, January 25th (6 to 8pm). G your silent disco yoga on with Nicole Cronin, get styled in sporty gear by @intentionally_kat and sample juices and healthy treats from Urban Remedy. Now about the guest of honor—what's so amazing about these tights? Find out for yourself. RSVP here. // 1300 Burlingame Ave. (Burlingame), athleta.com

Santana Row suits up.

Silicon Valley types who eschew the daily hoodie-and-jeans uniform (wherefore art thou?) will be happy to hear this: Suitsupply just opened in Santana Row. This marks the second Bay Area location for the Dutch brand known for its custom-fitted high-quality suits at reasonable prices. (The San Francisco store opened in Union Square about 18 months ago.) No surprise, the 4,500-square-foot space exudes a refined European-hip vibe and carries a full lineup of ready-to-wear suits, jackets, shoes, shirts, outerwear and accessories, as well as eveningwear and made-to-measure threads. Plus in-store tailors are available for on-demand alterations. For those who haven't heard, a Wall Street Journal blind test rated a $600 Suitsupply suit first place in a tie with a $3,600 Armani. #eyesemoji. // 333 Santana Row, Suite 2020 (San Jose), suitsupply.com
