The day started out predictably gray in San Francisco, but the wedding of Kavitha Sreeharsha and Rohini Kaza was anything but gloomy.
Kavitha and Rohini braved the rain for a cheerful photo shoot in the city before heading over to the San Francisco Design Center for a vibrant Hindu ceremony. On a stage swathed in bright pink and orange, the couple draped jaimalas (flower garlands) around one another and laughed together as rice fell from their heads.
After the ceremony, the real party began as the imposing SoMa venue was transformed into a huge dance floor and dining room. Incredible floral designs and a topiary elephants brightened up the mood-lit room, and a cupcake tower replaced the traditional wedding cake.
