The premier Bay Area restaurant event of the season returns April 22nd! More than 100 restaurants will donate 25% of the evening's sales to San Francisco AIDS Foundation during Dining Out for Life. And if some of the best dishes in town weren't tempting enough, you'll also have the chance to win a trip to Costa Rica!
When you dine at a participating restaurant, locate the Dining Out for Life Ambassador to make a donation that will enter you into a sweepstakes where you could win a one-week stay in Playa Grande, Costa Rica; other prizes include winery tours, hotel stays, a Giants game, cocktail tours, and more! Find out all the details here, where you can even buy tickets online.
Participating restaurants include some of this year's winners in 7x7's Eat+Drink Awards: 1760 (Best Newcomer), both locations of Dosa (Best Indian), Foreign Cinema (Best Brunch and Best Outdoor Dining), Lolinda (Best Latin), Maven (Best Cocktails) and Zuni Café (Best Classic).
You could also find some of the items on our annual Big Eat list of "things to try before you die." Download our Big Eat app here to start checking off your list!
Dining Out for Life is an annual one-day fundraiser to help fight HIV/AIDS in our community, hosted at more than 100 restaurants, involving hundreds of dedicated volunteers and generous patrons, all to support the HIV prevention and care services of San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Through education, advocacy, and direct services for prevention and care, the foundation confronts HIV in communities most vulnerable to the disease.
