On November 28, Symphonix hosted their fall membership event at the newly opened Alibi Restaurant and Lounge in SOMA. Guests in cocktail and business attire braved the rain to show their support and kick-off the 2012-2013 season. The event was complimentary for Symphonix members, while non-members had the opportunity to join and be part of the San Francisco Symphony’s young professional league.
Guests rocked to beats by one of the city's top DJs while enjoying William Hill wines, La Marca prosecco, and savory hors d’oeuvres provided by Alibi. Event Chairs Liz Curtis and Christopher Lee and Symphonix President Ye-Hui Lu organized the soiree, which set record numbers for new memberships.
The Symphonix League is the young professional association of the San Francisco Symphony, dedicated to raising funds for the Symphony's music education programs while cultivating the next generation of symphonic music enthusiasts. Symphonix consists of over 400 young, trend-setting philanthropists and community leaders who come together at membership events hosted at San Francisco's hottest venues, attend Symphony concerts and the innovative Davies After Hours series, and engage the San Francisco community by supporting programs like the Symphony's Concert for Kids.
