It's Friday, which means time for the Eater Wrap, the weekly recap from Eater SF on all the happenings from the local restaurant scene. Grab some popcorn.

1) The big news of the week was that the Asia Society nixed its David Chang appearance after some local chefs didn't appreciate Chang's fig jokes. The decision prompted Anthony Bourdain to speak up, calling the Chang Ban "absolutely shameful," among other harsh words for the "gutless" Asia Society.

2) Little did you know that Douglas Keane is both a Michelin-starred chef at Cyrus AND a fighter of the nut-thieves.

3) The 2010 version of Michelindropped early Monday morning. Though a good number of first-timers received well-earned stars (Ubuntu, Commis, Aziza, Luce et al.), the headlines were the pair of restaurants that lost their vaunted two stars: Michael Mina was dropped down to the one-star level, while Aqua lost both stars (and is not even included in the book at all).

4) On this week's episode of Top Chef Vegas, they were all ashless chaps.

5) First came the news that Two's days are numbered down on Hawthorne Lane, and then it was revealed that French Laundry alum Corey Lee would be taking the space.

6) New York's incredible overnight empire-builder sensation Michael Bun Huynh is going to open a restaurant in Oakland too, because why wouldn't he?

7) Things are quickly approaching for the arrival of Melissa Perello's Frances, so do take an early look around the place as it develops from construction site to cozy neighborhood restaurant.
