This week, the creative team behind the popular glamping events biz Shelter Co. launches The Get Out, a hip outdoor camping and gear brand for laid-back adventurers.
Plus, San Rafael's Rough Linen releases swoon-worthy new bedding and Olika rolls out a line of hand sanitizer inspired by San Francisco.
The tent life just got a lot more fun thanks to gear from The Get Out.

It's hardly shocking that the folks behind Sebastopol's Shelter Co.—an event production company known for all manner of creative high-end retreats, weddings and luxury camping—birthed The Get Out. The new outdoor gear biz features super cool, design-y tents and accessories made for peeps looking for fun, colorful offerings that work for backyards and low-tech campsite situations.
Launched this week, TGO's signature collection includes three tent types. The A-Frame ($450) has a polyester ripstop floor with water protection and a mesh top for stargazing and sleeping sans bugs, plus comes in 24 combos (three base colors of pink, mustard and forest; and eight flies in various hues and patterns). The Lite Bell ($650) is bell-shaped with a water-resistant nylon upper, fully closable screen door and windows with vents in the ceiling. The Classic Bell ($1,195) sleeps six and has all the features of the Lite Bell but is meant to live in the backyard thanks to a water-resistant canvas upper.
Regular product drops will continue throughout the year—stay tuned for sleeping bags, camp cots, chairs, tables, blankets and tableware. How about a fresh take on s'mores, guys?

In our minds, linen sheets, pillow cases, and duvets are the LBDs of the bedding world. But when we got a sneak peek of the locally made sets from Rough Linen, we nearly lost our sheet! Not only is the bedding responsibly handcrafted in Marin County of high-quality linen fabric woven from European flax that's ridiculously soft, the new shades of agave and terra cotta are beyond gorge. Although the colors don't officially debut until Saturday, June 26th, a little birdie told us you can get your hands on them now (shh!).
