Brace yourselves: The Facebook Dislike button is coming.
After years of having to type out your disdain on Facebook, the social media company has finally taken pity on its billion or so users.
"Today is a special day because today is the day I can say we’re working on it and shipping it,” Zuck said at a town hall meeting Tuesday morning.
Zuck also explained that Facebook doesn't want to create a Reddit-style system of upvoting and downvoting.
“What [users] really want is the ability to express empathy,” said the CEO. “Not every moment is a good moment.”
While there are no concrete details or deadlines as of yet, we can't wait to finally let the Facebook know how we really feel.
