Kota Ezawa
After Hurricane Sandy desecrated New Jersey's Seaside Heights boardwalk, artist Kota Ezawa was compelled to erect his own version of it out of wood and metal in YBCA's courtyard. His innovative architectural piece, simply entitled Boardwalk, serves as a kind of "visual disaster relief," as Ezawa puts it. It is both an interactive sculpture and a contemplation on an amusement park's past.
