FOG Design+Art Fair
If you're an art and design junkie, don't miss this event. Benefiting SFMOMA, this weekend-long fair features a stellar lineup of design dealers and contemporary art galleries from the Bay Area and beyond, including Fraenkel Gallery, The Future Perfect, Hedge, Jessica Silverman, March, The NWBLK, and more. Look out for 21POP, a special installation by celebrated event designer Stanlee Gatti exploring design and culinary art. Make it an art-filled weekend and check out two other landmark events: Caldwell Snyder Gallery's 30x30, 30th anniversary exhibition and celebration, and Evergold Gallery's packed (think wall-to-wall art) 5-year anniversary group show.

Where: Fort Mason Festival Pavilion, Marina Blvd. and Buchanan St.

Dance
Wayne McGregor's Far
Choreographer Wayne McGregor, known locally for his work with the SF Ballet, brings us the West Coast premier of Far, a super high-impact, high-tech (a set comprised of 3,200 computerized LED penlights) performance scored by Brian Eno collaborator Ben Frost. You'll get tired just watching this incomprehensibly energetic tour de force.
