The Bay Lights
The grand lighting is finally here! On Tuesday, the 25,000 LED nodes will transform the Bay Bridge once and for all into the world's largest light sculpture. Inspired by the kinetic movement of the waves, wind, and traffic of the Bay Area, this illumination will dazzle the Bay like never before. Where will you be watching? Juried Plastic Camera Show
Using cameras that are sometimes more tape than plastic, photo lovers from the Bay Area and around the world have submitted their imperfect photos for a spot at this exhibit. A collection of 90 shots will be on display for this year's sixth annual show.

"Garry Winogrand"
SFMOMA is going out with a bang. Before the museum closes in June for the big renovation, catch the last exhibit in the SoMa building as it stands now—"Garry Winogrand," a career chronicle of the photographer known for his post-World War II documents of American life. The most comprehensive look at Winogrand's work to date, this retrospective includes some 300 photographs, a third of which have never before been printed.

Now retired, Federman will be on hand to talk about his memoir, The House That Herring Built, which hits stores March 5.
