If you dare to tread along the very same fault line, there will be a ranger who will walk you along the earthquake trail. Along the walk, you will be shown evidence of seismic activity in the region, as well as taught about why earthquakes happen and what is so special about this particular fault line that makes its way along the Californian coastline. The walk is only about a mile long, and anybody can attend. Check in at the Bear Valley Visitor Center to see which part of the trail is being walked.
When: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4 (best be a little early so you can join up with the ranger along the trail)
