For a Brazilian treatment that’s decidedly pain free, San Francisco spa-goers take note: Tre Balm has introduced a new skincare line and accompanying body wrap and peel based on the healing properties of plants and oils from the Brazilian Amazon.
Exclusive in San Francisco to the Presidio Heights day spa and sold by Fred Segal in Santa Monica, j. Sabatelli Skincare incorporates exotic oils such as Pracaxi and Buriti alongside antioxidant-packed Acai in a five-product collection ($400, individual products $48-$100) that includes a brightening face serum, moisturizing deep cleanser and collagen-building night treatment.
Want to try the paraben-free, plant-based line of products without the commitment? The Tre Balm Custom Brazilian Body Wrap and Peel performed by the skincare line’s founder Juliana Sabatelli should do the trick. Using a combination of clay from the Amazon River basin, organic fruits and rainforest oils custom-blended according to your skin type, the treatment includes a full body exfoliation, peel and detoxifying seaweed body wrap.
Just remember, beauty takes time. Expect a full body treatment to last up to four hours.
Available at Tre Balm, 3255 Sacramento St., 415-292-5129.
