Better late than never, says Turk+Taylor of their official launch party this week. The six-year-old San Francisco eco-fashion sweetheart is finally having a party for you to meet, or re-meet, the brand. And they're going big.
Designed and manufactured in San Francisco, Turk+Taylor sources organic, sustainable, vintage and recycled materials, like hand-dyed t-shirts, windbreakers made out of hot air balloon materials, and clothes from navy blankets and unused vintage stock. The result is men and women's collections that are tailored and unique, with a modern message.
Join the design duo behind it all, Andrew Soernsen and Mark Lee Morris, this week for a party and runway show featuring looks from the current Autumn/Winter 2011 collection and the Spring/Summer 2012 collection crafted from African prints, silk, linen, and vintage Vietnam-era parachutes.
An open bar, live music by Adonisaurus, food trucks, and who knows what other surprises will celebrate six years of sustainable success.
