While both stationed in Kodiak, Alaska, active duty Coast Guard pilots Allison and David met over a competitive arcade game one evening in the winter of 2011. After dating for three years, they revisited Kodiak on a mountain hike, where David popped the question against a misty backdrop overlooking the town where they met.
Since Allison is from Colorado and David hails from Southern California, Lake Tahoe was the perfect mix of mountains and water. During a small, intimate ceremony in the resort's lake view ballroom, while snow flurries gently drifted down behind them, Allison and David said "I do." The elegant-yet-rustic wedding was perfectly complimented by local vendors and homemade touches, like the handmade arch under which they were married, made by the father of the groom. The snowy day in March lent itself to some amazingly romantic and unique winter wonderland photos.
