Denim heads, polo players, and tee-and leather-jacket types, rejoice.
A five-year drought has come to an end. Ralph Lauren is back in San Francisco with a Polo Ralph Lauren store in Jackson Square. (The brand’s Fillmore Street outpost closed in 2020, and its Crocker Galleria location shuttered in 2013.) The new space, formerly home to handbag brand Senreve, features men’s and women’s apparel from Polo Ralph Lauren and Double RL, as well as a curated selection of vintage clothing and accessories (swoon!).
The quintessential American label is a natural fit for Jackson Square, a neighborhood that's been around since the Gold Rush days and currently the go-to for cool, upscale names like Isabel Marant, Zimmerman, A.P.C., Paul Smith, and Lan Jaenicke.
While the store aesthetic pays homage to the district's historic buildings with antique fixtures and other elements, it’s unmistakably present-day Ralph Lauren. Cue the custom deep-green exterior, warm oak floors, white-painted brick walls, and loft-like layout with open, wood-joist ceiling. Throw in meticulous millwork, layers of decorative art and furnishings, and—voilà—it’s RL’s world and we're just shopping in it.

Who else is hoping Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) will open her own spa—and that douchebag Saxon Ratliff (Patrick Schwarzenegger) will get a fitting comeuppance? No matter your thoughts on the upcoming finale, slipping into a White Lotus state of mind dress is a cinch, thanks to Banana Republic’s new, limited-edition collaboration.
Inspired by the stunning Thailand location of HBO's hit series, The White Lotus x Banana Republic capsule stars 24 men’s and women’s pieces that celebrate "a sense of discovery and wit through a premium lens," says Meena Anvary, head of marketing at Banana Republic. "Featuring tropical and vintage-inspired prints from our archives and landscapes of Thailand, the collection embodies the spirit of adventure.” .
While the collaboration is awash in mouthwatering shades of turquoise, red, and yellow, those who prefer a less vibrant (but still unboring) palette have options, too. Proof is in the olive-green slouchy fisherman pants and the dreamy off-white field shirt/jacket.
Crafted from premium fabrics—including super-soft European flax linen, lightweight cotton poplin, and pure silk—the lineup of shirts, dresses, shorts, and lightweight knits is suitcase-ready for both beachy getaways and cool urban adventures. The collection ranges in price from $40–$300.
P.S. If Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya McQuoid was still around, she would absolutely rock this maxi dress.

It’s clear to anyone paying attention that brands can’t get enough of Marin Country Mart. Retailers continue to flock to Larkspur’s hopping, mixed-use outdoor oasis. The latest smitten kitten to open up shop? LoveShackFancy, the whimsical, romantic womens' and kids' clothing and lifestyle brand.
The new boutique marks store number 18—and the first in Northern California—for the New York-based company. There are many reasons they chose the location, says LSF founder Rebecca Hessel Cohen, but “mainly we love the authentic, local feel of Marin Country Mart and all the other brands there.”
LoveShackFancy is impossible to miss. Just look for the pink, the bows, the florals, the ruffles, and the lace. Like the mission of the brand itself, its clothing and other products blend vintage vibes with a modern take on femininity—a timeless balance of softness and strength.
Ready to get your rose-colored shopping on but not sure where to begin? Let Hessel Cohen steer you in the right direction: "Currently, I’m living in our new spring collection—mixing furry coats and knits with our amazing lace tops and dresses like the Rosney Lace Maxi Dress and the Vienne Lace Ruffle Top. I’m also obsessed with the billowy Collia Silk Chiffon Maxi Dress.”
