If you're a girl and you're reading this, I bet you have a Luna Bar in your desk drawer. They are truly a snacktime savior.
Next week, the women's energy bar company brings us its annual LUNAFEST, a traveling film festival that showcases the best of women's short films from festivals around the country (last year's LUNAFEST showcased Courtney Cox's directorial debut "The Monday Before Thanksgiving"). This year, filmmaker Rosa Ruvalcaba will debut her locally-filmed documentary "Getting a Grip," the story of the first female cable car operator. LUNAFEST is kicking off its 100-city tour next Thursday (September 30) at the Herbst Theatre, where ticket sales will benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation.
