Welcome to Ticket Tuesdays, a new weekly chance for you to score entry to some of the hottest shows and events in the Bay Area.
The San Francisco Ballet’s season opens with a trio of performances: the premiere of Serge Lifar’s neoclassical work Suite en Blanc, the return of Jerome Robbins’ graceful In the Night set to music by Chopin, and a world premiere by Royal Ballet resident choreographer Wayne McGregor.
For his first SF Ballet commission—designed for 12 dancers and scored by Joel Cadbury of U.K. trip-hop group Unkle—McGregor found inspiration in the work of abstract painter Josef Albers.
And one lucky winner will win a pair of tickets to opening night of Program 1 on January 29. Just sign up below for the daily 7x7 e-newsletter and you'll be entered to win a night at the War Memorial Opera House!
