We at 7x7 are proud to be a part of the 2011 San Francisco Social, a night of dancing, merriment and cocktails that supports KIPP Bay Area Schools, an organization that provides a stable network of free college-prep programs to low-income public schools in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and San Lorenzo.
Taking place on November 12 in the glitzy Pavilion Room at the Fairmont Hotel, young philanthropic leaders of the Bay Area can expect one of the most glamorous gatherings of the year (so dress in your Sunday best!), delicious hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, a silent auction, the tunes of DJ CAMS and Nick Rossi Jazz Trio, and a goodie bag filled with Benefit Cosmetics.
KIPP Bay Area Schools is a remarkable network of schools that serve over 2,300 low-income students. With KIPP, 83% of these kids make it to college, compared to only 40% of low-income students on a national level. Over the years, the San Francisco Social has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local charities and now turns its support to KIPP, so keep these partnerships alive by attending this year.
