After much anticipation, Rebecca Minkoff finally opened the doors to her new San Francisco boutique on Fillmore. Now you can check out the magic mirrors in person. 

The naughty girls of Les Mechantes are hosting a pop-up featuring the online shop's spring collection on Monday, February 2 from 3 to 8pm. Gioia Pizzeria (2240 Polk Street) is hosting, and wine will be served. Plus, keep a look out for a private label spring collection coming soon from these gals. 

Celebrate the launch of Julia Lucey's "aquatint" etchings exhibit at Rare Device (600 Divisadero Street) with an opening reception on Friday, February 6 from 6 to 9pm. Lucey, an artist-in-residence at the Kala Art Institute, applies multiple tones on copper plates to depict the native flora and fauna of California. Bunnies, bobcats, bears, wolves and more frolic with colorful plants and flowers, some geometric and abstracted, some realistic and sincere, all beautiful.

Hayes Valley just got an extra does of je ne sais quois with the addition of Acoté, the more casual arm of French brand Cotélac. The brand's first American outpost opened last weekend at 597 Hayes Street. 

After closing its doors on Hayes Street last April to make way for a condo development, Cisco Home has opened a new permanent location at 135 Rhode Island in Potrero Hill. Look for beautiful, modern, and sophisticated pieces to suit any style in this two-level, 4,756-square-foot space. And you can feel good about shopping a brand that's committed to sustainability and quality craftsmanship.  

The maker wave shows no sign of slowing down, and A Case for Making is dropping in with a new boutique and workshop studio at 4037 Judah Street in the Outer Sunset. Make your own hand-wrapped crystal pendant at their first workshop from 2-4pm on January 31. 

Not feeling the upcoming Valentine's holiday? Gather the girls and head to Be Mine: Catwalk, Tattoos and Cocktails for a fashion show, tattoo pop-up, and celebration to benefit the SPCA on Friday, February 6 from 5 to 9pm. Jill Milan will have her cruelty-free handbags on hand, and local talent Claire Farwell will send her vegan designs down the runway. The Westfield SF is celebrating the Year of the Ram with a free event featuring special guest Chef Martin Yan of M.Y. China. Head to level 4 under the dome on February 28 between 3 and 5pm for live music, lion dancers, plus a noodle pulling demonstration. The first 1000 people will receive lucky red envelopes with a chance to win free admission to the Asian Art Museum and more.
